In her home, Nicketta helps by carrying water, gathering firewood and buying or selling in the market. She lives with her father and her mother. Her father is sometimes employed as a farmer and her mother is sometimes employed as a seller in the market. There are 3 children in the family. As part of Compassion's ministry, Nicketta participates in Sunday school, vacation Bible school and choir. She is also in primary school where her performance is below average. Playing jacks, singing and telling stories are her favorite activities. Your love and support will help Nicketta to receive the assistance she needs to develop her potential. Please pray for her.

Supun lives with his parents and 1 sister. His parents struggle to provide for the family. His father is a farmer and his mother is a teacher. Despite their efforts it is difficult to meet the family's needs.

Supun is growing up in a poor community in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. A typical home there is constructed with bricks and metal sheets. Families survive primarily on a diet of rice and curry. The climate is moderate with little variation between summer and winter in this mountainous region.

Supun is not in school at this time because the child is still too young. He likes to play with toys. He helps at home by learning to do small tasks. He is in good health.

Our sponsorship commitment helps provide Supun and his community with improved health care and hygiene. Educational opportunities give children the chance for a better future. In addition, your support provides parents with Income generating programs to help enhance their ability to provide for their families.
