Our Children’s Ministry, Kid’s Connection exists to teach our children to:
Celebrate Jesus
Open their hearts to God’s Word
Nurture and forgive each other
Name Christ as their Savior
Enjoy His fellowship
Communicate with God through prayer
Teach others about Christ’s love
Philosophy
God places the responsibility for spiritually nurturing children on parents (Deut. 6). Therefore, the programs at The Bridge are designed to work in partnership with parents, involving our children in fun activities to help them understand and apply truths from God’s Word.
Teachers
The Children and Youth Ministry staff consists of church members who volunteer their time and energy to help children grow in their relationship with Christ. All of our Teachers have been fingerprinted and have received clearance from The Department of Justice.

The motto for our Children's and Youth Programs is "What's Best for Kids". Tim Batiuk contributed immensely in propelling our children's ministry and remains available despite his current physical distance from Eastgate. He manages to return to Benicia every once in awhile to check up on us.
Tim Batiuk Tim is working in school administration and is also currently enrolled in seminary. We are excited about his past and future role in the ministry of Eastgate! |
